Exercise – Lawnmowers

The dumbbell row is a really basic weightlifting exercise, and a good one for most people to add to their fitness routine.  I consider it in the top five of back exercises.

There are different versions of dumbbell rows.  I like the one referred to as a Lawnmower.  It involves using your body for support which makes this more than just a back exercise.  It can also be referred to as a core exercise.  If you use a heavy weight and do some fast reps, it gets your heart rate pumping for a little cardio.
