Maple & Vinegar Dressing

Nearly all commercial/store-bought dressings contain bad oils like soybean and canola.  Even the ones that claim to be olive Tossed Salad and Salad Dressingsoil usually contain other oils.  I find it much healthier to make your own salad dressings, and most are pretty easy to make.  Like this maple and vinegar dressing…

INGREDIENTS:

1 Tsp. Dry Mustard

1 Tsp. Chopped Fresh Cilantro

3 Tbsps. Vinegar (any except white)

2 Tbsps. Grade B Maple Syrup

1 Tbsp. Citrus Juice

1 Clove Garlic, minced

1 C. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

½ Tsp. Unrefined Sea Salt

1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper

 

DIRECTIONS:

Blend together first six ingredients. Whisk in olive oil until emulsified. Refrigerate to allow flavors to blend.
