Banana Almond Power Smoothie

Glass of Chocolate Milk with Two StrawsPeople love smoothie recipes and this one is sure to please. What’s not to love about almond butter?! I buy raw almond butter from Trader Joe’s and unsweetened vanilla almond milk from Trader Joe’s as well.

This recipe contains protein, carb, healthy fat, potassium, magnesium, and ginger to combat inflammation. Kelp is optional, but is good for those who need thyroid support or a metabolic boost. Cinnamon and coconut are options, but I pretty much put cinnamon in every smoothie I make. Shredded coconut will give it a little more chew and healthy fat or you could use coconut milk instead of almond.

Banana Almond Power Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 Frozen Banana
1 C. Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/3 C. Raw Almond Butter
1 Tsp. Ginger
Sprinkle of Kelp (optional)
Add Ins: Cinnamon, Coconut, Cocoa

DIRECTIONS:

Blend until smooth.
