Exercise – Barbell Deadlift

Deadlifting is my favorite!!  I love deadlifts!  The only reason I have not previously posted on how to do a barbell deadlift is because it is an advanced exercise, and I really prefer people learn proper technique from an experienced trainer who can show you then watch you.  But because I do think it is an exercise that anyone lifting weights should incorporate into their routine, I am posting it.  Please, please do it correctly as advised in both the written instructions provided here and in the videos.  *I most often do a standard barbell deadlift, but there are variations which I will post at another time.
